Seriously Pod Fill Max E-Liquid Review: All 10 Flavours Ranked!
Seriously Pod Fill Max shortfills just launched with a mission to replace your 10ml E-Liquids. Doozy was kind enough to send over the full range for review, so let’s dive into my impressions!
There’s been a boom in the realm of 50/50 shortfills lately, offering bulk E-Liquids for use in low-powered MTL pod vapes for vapers on lower nicotine strengths.
These E-Liquids are an excellent option for those looking to save on juice who don’t mind mixing in their own nicotine. The shortfills come with space in the bottle for you to add a nicotine shot or 2 depending on the size.
Seriously E-Liquids, created by Doozy, has been delivering some incredible ranges as of late. This isn’t their first foray into 50/50 shortfills, either—their original Seriously Pod Fill shortfills are still hugely popular.
But Doozy wanted to find a way to offer these shortfills with more nicotine strength options—enter Seriously Pod Fill Max E-Liquids. Scroll down below the list to read more about the range and how adding nic shots works.
Without further ado, let’s get into my opinions of the range!
Seriously Pod Fill Max Flavours Reviewed
I vaped all of these in my OXVA Xlim Pro. Each flavour got its own 0.6Ω (ohm) mesh OXVA Xlim V2 pod to ensure no flavours overlapped or influenced each other.
These flavours also had some sneaky ice in them, so I’ve made sure to include sweetness and ice ratings for each flavour. A higher sweetness or ice score isn’t inherently good or bad, though!
As always, these are my personal opinions, so you may not agree with me—take from this what you will!
1. Lemon Lime Shortfill E-Liquid by Seriously Pod Fill Max 40ml
£7.99 | 3 for £20
Flavour: Lemon, Lime, Ice
Introducing the best lemon lime flavour I’ve ever tried (and I’ve tried many). I never thought I’d be raving about a citrus flavour—I usually find them too warm and unbalanced—but this one is incredible. I keep finding myself gravitating back to this flavour.
Ultra-sweet and zingy-sour, with the absolute perfect balance of ice on the exhale, this may be the best lemon lime flavour on the E-Liquid market today. It has a super intense disposable level of flavouring, and the balance it strikes is immaculate: sweet and zesty with a dash of icy-freshness.
I honestly have no notes, and I’ve already decided to order more of this one once my sample bottle runs out. If you love citrus E-Liquids, this is truly the most balanced one I’ve ever had the pleasure of vaping.
Bravo, Seriously E-Liquids!
2. Blueberry Shortfill E-Liquid by Seriously Pod Fill Max 40ml
£7.99 | 3 for £20
Flavour: Blueberry, Ice
Never in my 9 years of vaping have I opted for a straight blueberry flavour. Not for any articular reason—they just don't call to me like tropical flavours or mixed berry flavours do.
So, this was another very unlikely 5-star flavour for me. It was the last flavour I tried, but certainly one of the best.
Ultra-sweet, super juicy, and perfectly balanced with a hint of ice, the blueberry flavour from Seriously pod Fill Max is rich, deep, and moreish like no other blueberry E-Liquid I’ve tried. It has that ultra-concentrated flavouring that disposable vapes do without feeling too sweet or too sickly.
Once again, I have no notes on this flavour. If you love ultra-concentrated berry flavours—particularly blueberry flavours—look no further. Your new all-day-every-day vape is here!
3. Very Cherry Shortfill E-Liquid by Seriously Pod Fill Max 40ml
£7.99 | 3 for £20
Flavour: Cherry, Ice
I sound like a broken record here, but I could generally take or leave cherry flavours. They usually remind me of the cough syrup swill I had to drink as a child. This cherry flavour from the Pod Fill Max range, however, really hits the spot.
Rich, sweet cherry—a blissful balance between authentic and artificial cherry—is frosted with a layer of refreshing ice, delivering an ultra-concentrated flavour with enough sweetener to balance out the punchiness.
The ice is perfectly balanced from inhale through to the exhale to leave your palate feeling refreshed (and not at all like you’ve just taken a dose of cough medicine). For the first time ever, I’ve found a cherry flavour I could easily vape all day.
If you love cherry, you won’t be disappointed by this one!
4. Blackcurrant Citrus Shortfill E-Liquid by Seriously Pod Fill Max 40ml
£7.99 | 3 for £20
Flavour: Blackcurrant, Citrus, Ice
Seriously E-Liquids really nailed it with this one: it does exactly what it says on the tin: a blissful melding of citrus and blackcurrant notes. It tastes just like a blackcurrant drink served over ice with a slice of lemon garnishing the rim.
The zesty qualities of the citrus flavouring do an excellent job of balancing out the richness of the berries, and the ice adds a nice lightness to what would otherwise be a very heavy, possibly sickly flavour.
Overall, I’m super impressed with this flavour—and if I were stranded with only this to vape, suffice to say I’d be a happy camper.
If you’re in the market for a fresh new blackcurrant E-Liquid that packs a bit of a zing, I can’t recommend this one enough!
5. Triple Mango Shortfill E-Liquid by Seriously Pod Fill Max 40ml
£7.99 | 3 for £20
Flavour: Mango, Ice
This is the flavour I was most excited to try, and I wasn’t let down. My usual everyday flavour is also called Triple Mango (Bar Juice’s version), so I was excited to compare the two.
The Pod Fill Max mango flavour is super strong and artificial-tasting—and I don’t mean “artificial” in a derisive way. It signifies more of a candy-esque flavour than a natural fruit flavour—which, in this case, was welcome.
The juice leaves a sweet, rich tropical aftertaste, with hints of some other minor background fruits like pineapple or passion fruit.
Overall, this flavour would get 5 stars from me if there was just a bit more ice to it to balance out the richness—but I could easily vape this one all day every day.
6. Blue Razz Breeze Shortfill E-Liquid by Seriously Pod Fill Max 40ml
£7.99 | 3 for £20
Flavour: Blue Raspberry, Ice
If you love a light and juicy berry flavour, Blue Razz Breeze has you covered. I really enjoyed this one, though I’m not sure if I could vape it all day—but again, this is my personal opinion.
The juicy, sweet blue raspberry flavour isn’t as deep or rich as some other berry flavours, which I found refreshing.
There’s a nicely balanced burst of ice on the exhale, though it does verge on tasting a bit minty, which some vapers may not like.
Overall, this is a light, luscious, and ultra-sweet berry flavour with a distinctly “blue” taste that I can’t put my finger on. If you love a blue razz vape, you should definitely try this flavour from the Pod Fill Max range.
7. Strawberry Candy Shortfill E-Liquid by Seriously Pod Fill Max 40ml
£7.99 | 3 for £20
Flavour: Strawberry, Candy, Ice
Cards on the table: I have a pretty strong aversion to the strawberry flavouring used in most juices. And while this isn’t my cup of tea, I’ll do my best to be objective.
For this and the other strawberry flavour, I also got a second opinion before writing my review.
Ultra-sweet—the sweetest in the entire range—and super concentrated, this flavour delivers a confection of strawberry sweetness in every puff.
Compared to the Strawberry Milk flavour, this one is much lighter and tastes more punchy and zingy overall.
If you’ve got a sweet tooth, this flavour hits the spot. I would 100% recommend this to fans of candy flavours.
8. Strawberry Milk Shortfill E-Liquid by Seriously Pod Fill Max 40ml
£7.99 | 3 for £20
Flavour: Strawberry, Milk
As I said in my Strawberry Candy review, strawberry vape flavours are really not my thing. With that being said, I asked another vape connoisseur—who vapes a Strawberry Ice Cream flavour every day—to try this one, and he said it was phenomenal.
This is exactly what you want from a Strawberry Milk flavour: extra sweet, creamy, and decadent. The strawberry flavouring is very artificial, much like how real strawberry milk tastes, and the overall flavour is very warm and rich.
My only note is that the sweetness tends to linger in a way that starts to get sickly after a while (though, again, this is my personal opinion).
It’s the only flavour in the range without any ice at all, and truthfully, it wouldn’t benefit from it anyway. If you love sweet, creamy dessert flavours with a strong strawberry note, I think you’ll agree that this flavour is outstanding.
9. Guava Passion Shortfill E-Liquid by Seriously Pod Fill Max 40ml
£7.99 | 3 for £20
Flavour: Guava, Passion Fruit, Ice
Imagine, for a moment, Elf Bar’s Kiwi Passionfruit Guava disposable, but with less ice and no kiwi. That’s essentially what you’re getting with this juice.
Sweet and extra juicy-tasting, this is a really fresh tropical flavour profile. I’m not really a guava person—the almost-floral notes tend to put me off—but I really enjoyed the balance of flavours in this juice.
So often the tropical fruit flavours on the market have enough ice in them to cause a brain freeze, but this one is so well-balanced.
I wouldn’t add (or subtract) anything with this flavour; it’s really nicely sweetened, and the ice level is perfect. If you’re a fan of tropical fruits, you should definitely try Guava Passion—you won’t be disappointed.
10. Watermelon Ice Shortfill E-Liquid by Seriously Pod Fill Max 40ml
£7.99 | 3 for £20
Flavour: Watermelon, Ice
This one was definitely a miss for me. As someone who’s tasted many watermelon flavours, I can confidently say that this one is missing something—namely, sweetener. I contacted Doozy with my feedback, and they've said they may revise the recipe in the future.
It has that candied watermelon flavouring that most watermelon vape flavours have, but it’s not nearly sweet enough. For a juice that’s not trying to pass as an authentic fruit flavour, it definitely needs more sweetener.
On top of this, the ice is very strong—almost minty-tasting, which is a turn off for some. For the first time ever, I think this flavour might be too icy simply because the overall flavour is unbalanced.
With that being said, I could see some vapers liking this if they both love ice and hate super-sweet E-Liquids. So, if that sounds like you, you’ll probably enjoy the watermelon ice flavour.
What are Seriously Pod Fill Max E-Liquids?
Seriously Pod Fill Max is a range of shortfill E-Liquids formulated with 50% VG and 50% PG, making them compatible with low-powered MTL vape kits like pod systems and starter kits—whereas other shortfills are only compatible with higher-powered vape kits.
50/50 shortfills are currently the only bulk E-Liquid option for MTL vapers unless you fancy buying a 20-pack of 10ml bottles.
Until now, the maximum strength you could get in a 50/50 shortfill was 3.3mg if you add a 20mg nic shot. But with Seriously Pod Fill max, you can get up to a 6.6mg nicotine strength depending on which nicotine shots you use.
These 40ml juices, sold nicotine-free in 60ml bottles, allow you to tailor your own nic strength. Unlike other shortfills, Pod Fill Max E-Liquids come with extra space for another nicotine shot; you can add just one to get a 3.3mg strength, or you can add 2 to get a 6mg strength.
For more on mixing nic shots into your shortfill, check out our shortfill guide.
On a personal note, I’ve been looking to lower my nicotine strength from 10mg because I quit smoking over 2 years ago now, and I think it’s finally time. Problem is, all my favourite E-Liquids are only sold in 10mg and 20mg (that is, until the new Bar Juice flavours came out this week).
When Doozy told me they’d be sending over these juices to review, I was elated: would this be my chance to find my new everyday E-Liquid flavour? After all, these are cheap, bulk E-Liquids from a premium brand that really understands what UK vapers want.
And in the end, I found several contenders for my regular rotation—a few of which I’ll definitely order once my sample runs out.
What nic shots do I need for Seriously Pod Fill Max?
We recommend choosing a nic salt shot for use in your Seriously Pod Fill Max, as these are one of the few nic shots made with 50% VG and 50% PG. They’re also formulated with salt nicotine, which offers fast absorption into the bloodstream and an ultra-smooth throat hit even at high nicotine strengths.
Because most nic shots are designed to be mixed into high-VG shortfills for sub-ohm vaping, they’re usually made with at least 70% VG. Choosing a nic shot with the wrong VG/PG ratio will affect the ratio in your shortfill and could make the E-Liquid incompatible with your device—so be sure to make note of your nic shot’s VG/PG ratio before mixing it in.
Now that we know that nic salt shots are the way to go, one question remains: what’s your preferred nicotine strength? We’ve done all the maths for you. Below, you’ll find a table outlining the various nicotine strengths you can achieve with different combinations of nic shots.
Nic Shot(s) | Total Volume | Total Strength |
---|---|---|
1 x 18mg | 50ml | ≈ 3.3mg |
1 x 20mg | 50ml | 4mg |
2 x 18mg | 60ml | 6mg |
2 x 20mg | 60ml | ≈ 6.6mg |
P.S. Notably, the Seriously Pod Fill Max packaging (and their social media) states, “1 nic shot = 3mg/50ml” and “2 nic shot = 6mg/60ml” but this is inaccurate—though it does work as a general guide. Furthermore, the packaging doesn’t mention the strength of the nic shots needed. Hopefully, our table helps you.
Summary
I was so delighted to learn that I’d be reviewing the Pod Fill Max range, and when I finally got to taste them, I was really blown away. Aside from a few outliers with flavourings I’m not personally keen on, I really loved the entire range. My absolute favourite was one I never thought I’d like: Lemon Lime.
To round it all up, my top 3 (unlikely) favourites were:
- Lemon Lime
- Blueberry
- Very Cherry
Of course, there will be vapers who’d gladly vape some of my lower-rated flavours all day every day, but of course, this review is based on my personal tastes.
A huge thanks to Doozy for sending these over for review—we love highlighting new ranges with honest, unbiased reviews like these.
You can find Seriously Pod Fill Max on our website for just £7.99 per bottle, or Mix & Match any 3 shortfills for £20. What a steal!
I hope Seriously comes out with more new flavours in the range soon—but until then, I’ll keep vaping my new faves!
