Stocked Up for the October Vape Tax: Our New Warehouse, More Stock, Today's Prices for Longer

From 1 October the UK Vaping Products Duty adds £2.20 to every 10ml of e-liquid. We saw it coming, and we did something about it. Here is exactly what we have done so you keep paying today's prices for as long as possible.

If you have read our complete UK vape tax guide, you already know the headline: a flat £2.20 per 10ml on every e-liquid, nicotine or not, with VAT charged on top. That works out at about £2.64 per 10ml in real money.

That is a big change for anyone who vapes, and it is a big change for a shop like ours. So over the last few weeks we have been busy. We have moved warehouse, joined forces with a much bigger stock holder, and bought in as much e-liquid as we sensibly could before the duty starts.

Let's walk through what that means for you.

The biggest change is behind the scenes. VapeGreen is now part of the Dispergo family. Dispergo Vaping is an Oxfordshire vape wholesaler and retailer, and your orders now ship from our shared warehouse at Unit 17 Stationfields, Stationfield Industrial Estate, Kidlington OX5 1JD.

Why does that matter to you? Because Dispergo's wholesale stock sits in the same building as our retail shelves. When a flavour runs low on the website, it moves straight over from wholesale rather than waiting on a supplier delivery. The result is one much bigger stock pool, topped up constantly.

Everything else stays the same. The website, the VapeGreen name, your account and your order history are all unchanged, and support@vapegreen.co.uk still reaches the same support team. If you need to call, the warehouse number is 01993 627341.

Here is the honest version of how the duty works. It applies to e-liquid manufactured in or imported into the UK from 1 October 2026. Stock that was already here before that date can still be sold at pre-duty prices during the transition period, which runs until 31 March 2027 at the latest.

So we did the obvious thing. We bought in as much stock as we could before the duty, thousands of bottles and kits across our best-selling ranges, and we keep topping it up from the shared warehouse. We also kept our own Frugi e-liquid in production right up to the deadline.

Our promise is simple: we hold today's prices for as long as pre-duty stock lasts. Once that stock is gone, prices have to rise, because every new bottle that arrives carries the duty. Nobody can tell you exactly when that day comes for each flavour, which is why we say it plainly: these prices last while stock lasts.

The maths is straightforward. Take the bottle size, work out how many 10ml units it holds, multiply by £2.20, then add 20% VAT on that duty. A 10ml bottle picks up £2.64. A 50ml shortfill picks up £13.20.

A lot of you have been asking. Frugi, our own all-natural and PG-free 50ml shortfill range, is back in stock in 11 flavours at £16.99 a bottle, from Apple and Mixed Berries to Strawberry Custard and Real Tobacco. Peppermint Menthol is coming soon, and we kept the mixing going right up to the duty deadline so there is a proper pile of it.

We will be honest about what happens after October. A 50ml bottle picks up £11 of duty, £13.20 with VAT, and we are not yet sure what that means for the brand. One option we are looking at is one-week pre-order windows, made in smaller batches. Nothing is decided, so the best advice is to check back regularly for the current price and availability.

Yes. Not because we say so, but because of how the duty works. Every bottle we sell at today's price is one that was bought in before 1 October, and that stock does not get replaced at the same price. When a flavour sells out and the next batch arrives, it arrives with the duty on it.

The multibuy deals still apply, so the sensible move is the same one it has always been: pick your everyday flavours and buy a few weeks' worth in one go.
