Maybe it’s the dreary UK weather—the desire for warmer summers and sunnier days—or maybe British vapers simply love pineapples, but one thing’s for sure: UK vapers absolutely love exotic tropical blends.

But not cherry. Apparently, cherries aren’t berries despite the mnemonic rhyme. Who knew?

While not my preferred flavour profile, citrus E-Liquids have become increasingly popular in the last year or so as that added “ice” flavouring I mentioned has become more prevalent.
When balanced with the right amount of sweetener and cooling notes, the zesty zing of lemon, lime, orange, and other citrus fruits makes for an exceptionally refreshing vape.
The most popular citrus flavour combo, by far, is lemon and lime, while other combinations like mojito flavours and sweet orange blends are also hugely popular.
In addition to the pure citrus options, Lemon E-Liquid flavours are often combined with dessert flavours to balance out the richness of the dessert taste, which makes for a blissfully balanced sweet flavour. If you haven’t tried a lemon pastry vape, you’re missing out.

Tobacco E-Liquids were once the most popular flavour profile, preferred by 38% of UK vapers when ASH polled them in 2015. Today, they’re preferred by 12% of British vapers, but those who use tobacco vapes tend to only use tobacco vapes.
In the early days of vaping, the emphasis was on creating the most authentic-tasting tobacco flavours, with flavourings like NET (Naturally Extracted Tobacco) designed to replicate the taste of the cigarettes vapers were so desperately trying to abandon.
However, as vaping grew out of its infancy and into its current state of wild, unchecked adolescence, research emerged showing that tobacco vapes were less effective in helping smokers quit compared to other flavoured vapes, like fruits and sweet flavours.
Still, those early diehard tobacco vapers are still enjoying their tobacco flavours, and many smokers prefer the tobacco flavour in their vape when they transition.
It’s still a very popular flavour profile among our customers, though the E-Liquid industry’s emphasis has drifted from authentic tobacco flavours to sweeter, more tempered blends.
