Starter Vape Kits
Starter Vape Kits is the perfect choice for anyone looking to make the switch from smoking to vaping. Our selection of high quality and easy to use starter kits includes everything you will need to get started, all you have to do is select an E-Liquid. We recommend trying something from our Nic Salt E-liquid range or 50/50 E-Liquid range as they work the best with starter kits. Our Starter kits section is also priced very competitively and you will not need to spend a fortune to get started.
What is a starter vape kit?
A starter vape kit is a small-sized pod vape or pen. They usually do not include E-Liquid, allowing you to choose from a variety of nic salts and 50/50 VG/PG E-Liquids.
Starter vape kits include a rechargeable battery, allowing you to reuse the device.
Starter vape kits are usually either replaceable coil or replaceable pods (indicating what needs to be replaced when the vape tastes bad).
Are starter vapes sub-ohm?
Sometimes, however, in order to know, check if the resistance of the coil is lower or higher than 1.0Ω (ohm); if they are lower, they are sub-ohm.
Devices such as the Vaporesso LUXE X use sub-ohm coils, opening up the world of shortfills, whereas devices such as the Eleaf IORE LITE are above-ohm vapes 1.0Ω+ (ohm), requiring either high-PG (50%+) E-Liquids like nic salts.
What is the difference between advanced and starter vape kits?
The biggest difference between starter vape kits (cheap vape kits, too) and advanced vape kits is the complexity of operation and maintenance.
Advanced kits tend to involve menus and adjustable settings and require more time and effort to use, making them the usual choice for experienced vapers.
In contrast, a starter vape kit is easily usable by anyone and has little maintenance or buttons.
Another difference between the two is the power and size; advanced kits tend to produce large DTL (Direct to Lung) inhaled clouds and work on high wattages. Starter kits do not.
What E-Liquid to use in a starter vape kit?
After evaluating whether your starter kit is sub-ohm or above-ohm, select the appropriate E-Liquid accordingly:
Sub-ohm (<1.0Ω (ohm)): Shortfills and high VG E-Liquid blends
Above-ohm (1.0Ω+ (ohm)): Nicotine salts and low VG E-Liquid blends (50/50 VG/PG)
Can I use shortfills in a starter vape kit?
Yes, but only if your starter vape kit uses sub-ohm coils! (<1.0Ω (ohm)). If not, use nic salts or 50/50 vape liquids.
Are starter vape kits cheaper than smoking?
Yes, they are substantially more cost-effective than smoking traditional cigarettes. If a packet of cigarettes averages £13.60 and you smoke one pack a day, you would be spending almost £5,000 a year!
In comparison, the yearly cost of using a Vaporesso Moti x Mini is roughly £180.
What is the difference between starter kits and disposable vapes?
Starter vape kits are reusable vapes, requiring either replacement coils/pods to be changed for maintenance while requiring E-Liquid bottles to refill the pod/tank. (aside from pre-filled pods which come with E-liquid)
Disposable vapes, on the other hand, are one-time-use devices. Once your disposable is dead (either out of battery or out of E-Liquid), you can no longer use the device and are required to purchase a new vape in order to continue vaping.
